We believe:

●  That Jesus Christ is the unique Son of the Virgin Mary. He was crucified, put into the ground, and raised from the dead. John. 3: 16; Matthew 1: 23; Matthew 28: 6

●  The entire Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

●  All men are guilty before God, need to repent, confess and forsake their sins, and believe

and obey God’s Word (Acts 2:38; Romans 3:23; Romans 3:23; Romans 10:9)

●  In believer’s baptism by immersion (Mark 16:16).

●  In nonconformity to the world (1 John 2:15).

●  In nonresistance in all phases of life (Matthew 5:43-46).

●  God’s design for marriage is one man and one woman for life (Ephesians 5:31; Genesis 1: 27 and 28).

●  Divorce and remarriage constitute the sin of adultery. The only allowable causes for remarriage are infidelity and death ( Matthew 5: 32; Matthew 14: 3 and 4; Matthew 19: 3-12; Mark 10: 12; Luke 16: 18; Romans 7: 2 and 3; 1 Corinthians 5: 1-7; 1 Corinthians 7: 2; Acts 15: 28 and 29; Revelations 2: 20-22).

●  That Christians must seek to become a part of a local church (Hebrews 10:25, Hebrews 13:17).

●  That the church has the authority to make practical applications to the principles of God’s Word and needs to do so if it will maintain those principles in the lives of its members (Mattew 16:19; Matthew 18:17; Hebrew 13:17).

Baptism

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a public declaration that you have accepted Him as your personal Savior. Baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command that demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

Colossians 2:12;Acts 2:41;Ephesians 2:8-9;Matthew 28:19-20

Communion

Communion or the Lord’s Supper is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember his sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and wine or juice symbolize Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation. Rather, it is a testament to a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross.

Matthew 26:26-30;Mark 14:22;Luke 22:19,20;1Corinthians 11:23-29
